When Mary was taking care of ll cells in the laboratory nothing was happening, but Hanrietta' cells had doubled means they didn't die. Soon Dr. Gay told to his colleagues about it. Henrietta didn't know about it nothing.

They was working together in Gey's laboratory at the time when the immortal cells were discovered. This helpped Rebecca Skloot incounter with Henrietta's yangest doughther, Deborah, after many refusals from Deborah's side. Leter she met athers members of Henrietta. After Rebeca had a lot of information of Henrietta she got shoocked about. She read her medical history where sais after many radio active treatments cancer started to spread all over her body. She was telling about that to her doctor, but he egnored. She was suffer the pain until she died.

I feel very sad, becouse it's reminded me death of my friends who died at her age because of cancer.

question:

What is the reason to get a radiation treatment if the patient will die for all that?
